So on Wednesday I'll be turning 19. I'm not entirely sure what to make of it, I have nothing special planned, I haven't even asked for things for presents. I do have a family party this weekend, but on Wednesday I'll just have my usual college classes and homework to do. I suppose my one hope is that I'm not swamped with homework and I just get to relax instead, but I already know for sure I've got a 2-3 page paper that's due on Thursday for College Writing II. At least it's not as bad as the 5 page paper that was due today for Sociology. That paper I still have barely started and I'll be turning in Wednesday instead as it's only 5 points off for a (class) day late.

I have a few ideas of things I might want as presents, but none of them are really sticking. I still want that dual TV tuner for my computer, but I'm still unsure if I should wait for my next computer as they are bound to have a much better one by then. I could get the second boxed set of the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series, but I only just got the first and it could wait a while. One of the things I'm finding I could really love is my own apartment as I can't stand how the rest of the floor treats this residence hall and I would like my own private room. Just my own space to manage, to clean every weekend, my own fancy bathroom and shower, a nice living room, kitchen, etc. But that's way out of what I can expect for my birthday or even as something I'll be able to afford any time soon. I could really use some new earbuds, my current pair are stiff from going through the wash in my pants pocket and the plastic coating came off of part of the wire. Well, I know one present I'll definately get, gift cards. Particularly for iTunes. I'm so rediculously expensive to shop for.
